The project was to install the underground utilities and construct the structural foundations for a compressor plant. Construction was done inside a facility operating at full production.


The underground utilities consisted of 2,400 feet of piping and 1,300 feet of duct bank.


The foundations included 59 auger cast piles, 4-foot thick spread footings, 87 tons of rebar, and 1,140 cubic yards of concrete. The 215-foot tall tower that would be erected on this foundation required (12) 3-3/4” diameter anchor bolts.
